Overview: This project investigates the potential rescue of PCDH19-Clustering Epilepsy neuropathology through annulment of Pcdh19 in the brain. Using our unique pre-clinical models and novel adeno-associated virus vectors, we will identify when pathological changes first occur in the brain and determine the potential efficacy of genetic therapy in counteracting this pathology.
