Assessment of Applications

  • Projects are assessed on the basis of research merit and relevance to the general health, education or welfare of children.
  • Disbursement of funds is made on the recommendation of a Research Committee, comprising nominees of Channel 7 Adelaide Pty Ltd, the University of Adelaide, Flinders University, The University of South Australia and Children, Youth & Women’s Health Service.
  • The Research Committee also seeks comment on each research proposal from independent referees nominated by the Committee.
  • Each application is individually reviewed by the Committee and further clarification may be sought from the applicant or referees.
  • Successful applicants will be notified in October after the September CRF Board Meeting.
  • Individual Terms and Conditions will be forwarded with the notification, to be signed by the Institution (if applicable) and Applicant. Such Terms and Conditions must be returned to the Executive Officer of CRF.
